Microsoft has launched its new mobile phone Operating System , will full of hopes to replicate its desktop dominance on the next generation of smartphones.
The most concentrated part of this new version Windows phone 7 is on the capabilities of social-networking, real-time information and options for organizing contacts and data in to a single “hubs”.
“I’m proud to introduce Windows Phone 7 Series, the next generation of Windows Phones,” said Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Joe Belfiore, vice president of Windows Phone, said it was time to stop thinking about mobile phones like PCs. “A phone is not a PC, it’s a smaller, more intimate device,” he added.
During the launch the Microsoft executives said that this Microsoft’s new launch aims SmartPhones to act as a business as well as personal device. By giving the option of making users to access and edit Microsoft Office documents on the device.
They also added this new device will be some thing new and more to like. They also assure this will not be like the one in a crowded market, will same style and look and features. I challenged the team to deliver a different kind of mobile experience.
Windows Phone 7 will surely mark a turning point toward Smartphone which helps people a lot in responding to their needs by providing features to access the internet much faster than ever. And to get in touch with their device more lively then before.
Microsoft said that Windows Phone 7 Series devices would be available from a variety of handset makers, including Samsung, LG and HTC , more likely at the end of this year.
