A Price war begins between Amazon and Google to provide cloud storage services for their customer.

Competition among these tech giants made price cuts on both the sides. As a first move to attract customer, Google decided to reduce the price of their cloud storage by 20 % this week as a result Amazon announced yesterday that there will be a price drop in their S3 cloud storage service by about 25%.

After the smart move by Amazon to retain their customers, The Search Engine giant gone a level high of Amazon and announced that they will further reduce their cloud storage prices by 10% more. It is really a surprising fact that in just a week’s time, Amazon’s S3 cloud storage price reduced to 25 % and Google’s cloud storage prices reduced to 30 %

Bloomberg confirms the rumors that Apple will launch the new iPhone 5 in September of this year. Besides this, the rumor says that Apple will also launch a new version of the iPad with a higher resolution.

As far as we know the new iPhone will have an even faster processor than the iPhone 4 and also a more advanced camera. The processor will most likely be the A5 processor which is the chip that Apple added to the iPad 2. About the camera, rumors say that it will probably be an eight megapixel camera. The design of the iPhone 5 will be very similar to the iPhone 4 and of course the new device will run on iOS 5.

Since after the launch of Apple iPad 2, many companies has rolled out there own tablet but none proved to be as catchy as the gold standard iPad. This time,  Sony has also joined the same race and has announced to launch two new Android 3.0 HoneyComb tablets by the end of 2011. Sony has named them Sony S1 and S2.

Sony has taken a step ahead from all tablet and introduced two unique tablets which are entirely different from each other in design. Sony S1 is a slate type 9.4 inch tablet whereas S2 is a dual-screen tablet which packs two 5.5-inch screens. Both these tablets runs on android HoneyComb.

Sony S1 has a strange rolled shape and an “off center of gravity design” that lets you hold it more firmly. It packs a Tegra 2 chip which will allow it to handle HD content playback. It also has an IR port for AV controls, DLNA support and the ability to work with Sony’s Bravia line of TVs. It should also let you access the Playstation Suite games.

Sony S2 has two 1,024 x 480 screens, which allows you to use two separate screens for two different apps or combine them into one large screen for web browsing etc.

Both tablets have focus on the Sony’s Qriocity platform which integrates music, video, e-book and other services. Not much information is revealed by the company yet about the tablets, but it is rumoured to launch first in Japan and then globally. Stay tuned, as we will keep you updated with it.

Everyone wants to keep their system free from other, and no one like others to know what they are doing online. For that Google’s Chrome gives an option to delete the cookies and site information’s stored in other than the browser.

 Cookies are a small text file which the web sites stores details such as browsing history users names etc. These cookies can be deleted but when it comes to plugs-in like Flash it also stores flash data and even if you delete the cookies its possible for a web site to reconstruct from those Flash data. Adobe is trying to take care of its responsibilities with a beta version of Flash Player 10.3 which lets browsers delete that data.

 Chrome programmer Bernhard Bauer said on a blog spot “As of this week’s Chrome Dev channel release, you can delete local plug-in storage data (such as Flash LSOs [local storage objects]) from within Chrome by clicking Wrench > Tools > Clear browsing data and selecting ‘Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data”.

 Chrome can also set to delete such data when we shut down the browser.

We came across lot of rumor on the net regarding the design and the spec of the Apple iPhone 5. Here is another rumored white iPhone5 picture published at the MIC Gadget. Although it was not certain whether it was a real iPhone5 or a mockup, it was certainly not a white iPhone4 that appeared in the UK last week.

Microsoft is preparing its own cloud office solution called Microsoft Office 365. But Google Docs might be a great set of office tools, Microsoft Office 365 has been in limited beta for some time, and now it is finally available for public testing.

Unlike Google Docs, Office 365 isn’t intended for personal users, instead, Office 365 is designed for corporations and business. Office 365 allows you to access it from your PC or smartphone via any web browser, and if you have a Windows Phone 7, you’ll be able to sync and update from the phone itself.

Office 365 includes Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Lync Online, as well as Office 365 Marketplace which contains a variety of apps that you can use to customize your Office 365. Currently, the marketplace holds 100 apps and 400 professional services.

A preview version of Internet Explorer 10 has been released by Microsoft, the latest version of Internet Explorer will introduce some changes, and one of those changes is the lack of support for Windows Vista and XP.

When Internet Explorer 9 was released, it didn’t support Windows XP. Internet Explorer 10 will not have Vista support because Windows 7 is becoming the dominant operating system on the market. In addition, Windows 8 is on its way, so Microsoft is really trying to put an end on XP and Vista, and keep Windows 7 and Windows 8 as the dominant operating systems.

Probably every iOS user has felt the need for an official Adobe Flash plug-in, now Adobe has added HTTP Live Streaming to Flash Media Server thus making it possible for iOS devices like the iPhone and the iPad to view flash files. This new update made by Adobe will generate a HTML5 compatible stream that will allow devices that don’t have the Adobe plugin installed to view flash files.

Adobe also presented recently the next version of Adobe Flash media live encoder, this tool will capture a live broadcast stream and show it on devices such as Android powered devices, all the devices powered by iOS and also Samsung TVs.

This new feature introduced by Adobe will certainly improve the browsing experience of users that use an iOS powered device such as the iPhone and the iPad.

Recently Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 9, it seems that a new version of Internet Explorer will be released in the near future, and speaking of which, a preview version of Internet Explorer 10 is available for download now.

During the annual MIX conference, Microsoft announced that their latest browser, Internet Explorer 10 would be available for download in a preview mode, and although it’s in its early stage, it will evolve over time. As for IE 10, it continues what its predecessor left off by improving HTML5 and CSS3 support.

Microsoft is trying to implement CSS3 features such as Multi-column Layout, Grid Layout, Flexible Box Layout, and CSS3 Gradients, and we should see Transitions and 3D Transforms someday in the future. As for future updates, we should see a new preview at least once per quarter.

We don’t know when we will see a full version of Internet Explorer 10 released, but it’s a nice thing to see that Microsoft has decided to release newer releases of Internet Explorer on a more frequent basis.

Now you’re not limited to a certain number dials and you can have as many dials as you like, and if needed, Speed Dial will scroll so you can access all of your dials in just a few clicks. Of course, improved Speed Dial isn’t the only addition in Opera 11.10; there are all sorts of minor changes that should enhance user experience.

For example, the browser now searches for missing plug-in and offers to install them for you, so you won’t have to search plug-in on your own again. New Opera uses less battery power which is quite important for laptops, and it supports Google’s WebP and new web standards such as CSS3 gradients and the W3C Web Open Font Format. Some minor tweaks include better Gmail IMAP support in the built-in mail client and a search suggestion page that appears for misspelled URLs.
