How To Capture DSLR like Photos Using Android Mobile ( Bokeh Effect)

Most of us like DSLR pics which have bokeh effect but do you know you can get these kinds of photos even through your android mobile, after reading this article you will also be able to capture beautiful bokeh effect pics with your android mobile. so without any further ado see how you can capture DSLR like photos using Android mobile.

First of all, you have to understand what is the difference between a DSLR and a mobile camera. Well DSLR provides a variety of manual settings like Focus, Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings by which you can choose and manipulate your picture quality but in a mobile camera, you have to play with existing settings only. To get DSLR like photos you have to get those manual settings on your android mobile.

To do this these things you will need:

  1. Android app: Bacon Camera.
  2. Proper Light.
  3. Stable hands or a tripod.

Steps To Capture DSLR like Photos Using Android Mobile

Step 1: First of all you have to download a camera app which will provide you manual setting. You can use anyone but I prefer bacon camera. You can use any other app like the open camera or whichever provides manual control over settings.

Step 2: Now open bacon camera and click on manual mode which will load basic DSLR settings. Now you will be able to see settings like focus, white balance, exposer, iso, and shutter speed.

Step 3: As you can see in the image above we have all DSLR settings enabled in this camera, you can enable it by clicking on M which is present on the function bar. If you want to use bokeh effect in your pics then the main thing you have to use is the focus setting. In the image down below you can see how two focus setting can make a dramatical change in your pics.

As you can see in the above image there are two different focus settings. In 1st pic focus setting is on around somewhere 30 and at that time background was totally in focus and our little tripod was totally blur but when we change this focus setting and took it somewhere near 80 a dramatical change is seen now background is out of focus or you can say blur and only our little tripod is in focus so that’s how you can capture DSLR like photos using android mobile.

Here we are showing some pics that are taken through this app. I hope after this you will understand how much you can do with only your basic Android mobile.
