How To Password Protect Any File Or Folder In Android

Android mobiles are increasing day by day, and with this increasing demand android OS is developing at a very fast rate but still some company lack a native android file lock in with user can store his personal photos or files. Companys like Xiomi are giving a native app lock and picture lock but what about others, for them we are representing a trick by which you can lock your personal images and files. So without further ado let’s get started.

There are some simple steps by which you can do this process so sit tight and follow these steps.

Step 1: First of all you have to download an app called File & Folder Locker. This App will help you to lock files and whole folder.

Step 2: After installing the app this app will ask for 2 permissions 1st is to access your files and storage and 2nd to read your contacts grant 1st permission and deny 2nd we don’t want that any app read your contacts unnecessarily.

Step 3: After giving permissions app will prompt you to set a new PIN, create any 4 digit pin which you can easily remember.

Step 4: After creating PIN you have to add an Email id so if you ever forgot your PIN it will send your PIN on that Email address.

Step 5: Now you will see all your files and folders in the app, here you can see which file and folder you can lock. It will show a green color lock icon along with the files and folders which means you can lock this file or folder.

Step 6: Now from here you can lock any file or a whole folder just click that file and it will ask you do you want to encrypt this file click encrypt.

Step 7: After encrypting you will see a unlock button near that file as shown in the image down below.

Step 8: Whenever you want to use that file again you have to decrypt it and it is really very simple just open your app and browse to the file now top on the file name and it will ask for the PIN enter your pin and click decrypt, the file will get decrypted.

So that’s all guys I hope you will enjoy this folder and file lock and if you have any doubt or confusion feel free to comment in the comment section down below if you like this post don’t forget to share it with your friends.
